Hey, the hat looks great! When I first came up with the pattern, I wasn't yet a yarn snob, that's why it calls for acrylic. I've seen a lot of great hats in much nicer yarns... it works up great a lot of ways! I'm glad you like the pattern. :)


I made up the Tychus in Lion Brand Cotton-Ease for my son (can't remember if I doubled it) and I must have done something wonky since it turned out way too coney shaped. It was very fun to make though! Your's looks great but I can imagine what your hands felt like in the process.

Well, even in Red Heart it's a great looking hat! I bet it would be so good in a better yarn.
